Professor/Coach Mike Maher has been coaching for over 10 years. After wrestling, throughout high school and college, he started coaching high school wrestling at the same time beginning his training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Throughout the last decade, Mike has competed internationally in Jiu Jitsu, coached some of the top teams in Nassau County, and earned his black belt under Alexandre Soca Freitas, and managed a successful youth grappling team. All leading up to him opening his own academy, School of Grappling.
School Of Grappling is Long Island’s premier jiu jitsu and wrestling academy.
